You will quickly discover how Buenos Aires is like Paris and New York wrapped into one as you explore chic neighborhoods, an active night life with European architecture integrated into it all. It is also center stage for political power and you will learn how Buenos Aires pushes against the strength of the farmers in the provinces. You will also see how the economic crisis of 2001 tipped many people into poverty reflected in the nightly visits by Cartoneros to collect recyclable cardboard. You will also be exposed to the Villas (Shanty towns) in and around the city as they bulge with more and more Argentine's and Immigrants as they reach Buenos Aires in search of a better life.
