Terra Intern Abroad internships help you make your dream a reality by placing you in an organization that shares your dream and can show you how they make a difference right now.

We work best with students and young professionals who see themselves as Global Citizens and are lookiing for a valuable, hands-on, international work experience in a developing country. Terra Intern Abroad enables these global internships with non-profits and sustainable businesses in Africa, Asia and Latin America and are generally available to undergraduate and graduate level students as well as young professionals.

International internships are open to all majors, however applicants must meet all Terra Intern Abroad eligibility requirements and any specific international internship requirements of the host organization.

We are constantly working with our in-country partners and staff to evaluate new international internship possibilities. If you do not see an internship that interests you on our website, don't hestitate to contact us. We may have an international internship in the works that is right for you.

Our Mission

To empower students to become globally minded professionals by enabling hands-on internships with organizations around the world that are making a difference. We do this by creating an international network of in-country partners and local grass roots organizations who are working to improve the welfare of their community in areas such as education, healthcare, the environment, community development, social entrepreneurship, women's empowerment and more. Terra Intern Abroad is open to work with non-profits, non-governmental organizations, sustainable businesses and mission-driven social enterprises.
