Real adventures can be REALLY fun!
Your work will be be rewarding and your free time can be as invigorating or as relaxing as you want to make it. Your time is your own.
Your internship supervisor, local program director and staff are intimately familiar with what there is to do. You will be able to choose from a whole host of options. You might choose to join some of your fellow interns and join an organized visit to some historical sites or even choose to go on your own independent adventure. We'll be there to get you started.
Our Mission
To empower students to become globally minded professionals by enabling hands-on internships with organizations around the world that are making a difference. We do this by creating an international network of in-country partners and local grass roots organizations who are working to improve the welfare of their community in areas such as education, healthcare, the environment, community development, social entrepreneurship, women's empowerment and more. Terra Intern Abroad is open to work with non-profits, non-governmental organizations, sustainable businesses and mission-driven social enterprises.
