International education is our mission. Terra Intern Abroad is a program of Terra Education, an international organization operating educational programs abroad in 12 countries around the world.

Global Network

Although our headquarters is in San Diego, California, Terra Education has a network of staff around the world that is completely inter-connected to provide a global web of support to all of our students. Our global team is always on call to respond to emergencies and provide student support.

Exclusively for Interns

Terra Intern Abroad is a program designed and developed exclusively for individuals seeking a professional international internship. We do not operate multiple types of program under the same roof – this program is designed to meet the needs of interns.

Our Mission

To empower students to become globally minded professionals by enabling hands-on work experience with organizations around the world that are making a difference. We do this by creating an international network of in-country partners and local grass roots organizations who are working to improve the welfare of their community in areas such as education, health care, the environment, clean energy, economic development, agriculture and more. Terra Intern Abroad is open to work with non-profits, non-governmental organizations, sustainable businesses and mission-driven social enterprises.
