We know your internship abroad is the main focus of your trip, however we encourage all of our international interns to make an effort to explore their host country during your off days. Visiting historical landmarks, participating in a local festival, or simply just getting out to see more of the country are all important ways for international interns to learn more about the country they work in and the people they work with.
As a part of the program fee, pre-arranged excursions are included during your first week of orientation to help our international interns get to know more about their surroundings and the local culture. Please refer to the details of each individual internship description to see what kind of excursions will be provided.
Optional excursions, not included in the program fee, will be available on weekends or other off-days which interns may participate in at their own discretion. We make these additional excursions optional to give our international interns the maximum amount of flexibility to decide where and how they would like to enjoy their free time. Often times interns make friends with other interns at their group lodging site or are invited by their local co-workers to arrange their own unique adventures. In all cases, your on-site Intern Supervisor will be there to give you any advice or direction you many need.
