Supervision

Supervision is provided in two separate and distinct ways at Terra Intern Abroad.

International Internship Supervision

Supervision over your work is designed into each international internship project. International internships are learning opportunities where supervision is meant to provide direction and valuable feedback of your work. This type of supervision is mandatory of all of our international projects so that we can ensure you have a valuable and meaningful internship experience.

Off hour Supervision

Doing an internatiional internship in a developing country is an exciting adventure where many unplanned events can and do happen. Terra Intern Abroad's philosophy is to provide a safety net for our international interns, not stifling minute by minute supervision. Interns will have the freedom to explore their surroundings on their own terms always with the peace of mind that should something happen, professional support is close at hand.

Our Mission

To empower students to become globally minded professionals by enabling hands-on work experience with organizations around the world that are making a difference. We do this by creating an international network of in-country partners and local grass roots organizations who are working to improve the welfare of their community in areas such as education, health care, the environment, clean energy, economic development, agriculture and more.
